Cookie Policy

broklicense.com · BrokLicense is a brand of Broktrading Ltd

Version 1.2026 · Last updated 13 August 2026

1. The short version

This website does not use cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising or remarketing technology, no social media pixels and no third-party tracking of any kind. Nothing is stored on your device when you browse it or when you send us a message, so there is nothing for you to accept or refuse, and you will not see a cookie banner.

This policy exists so that the position is on the record, and so that you know what would happen if it changed.

2. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device so it can recognise that device on a later visit. Related technologies — local storage, tracking pixels and similar — do much the same thing. Sites commonly use them to keep you signed in, to remember preferences, to count visitors, or to follow people across the web for advertising.

3. Why this site does not need them

The BrokLicense website is a set of published pages plus a contact form. There is no login, no account area, no shopping basket and no personalisation, so there is no state to remember between pages. We have chosen not to add analytics or advertising technology.

The contact form does not set a cookie. It takes what you type, sends it to us as a message, and stores nothing on your device. It does not remember you, and it will not pre-fill itself on a later visit. What we do with the message once it reaches us is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Our web server keeps standard access logs, which record the request and not a cookie. Those are also covered by the Privacy Policy.

4. The rule we will apply if this changes

Under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive, as implemented in Cyprus by the Regulation of Electronic Communications and Postal Services Law 112(I)/2004, and under the GDPR standard of consent:

  1. cookies that are strictly necessary to deliver a service you have asked for may be set without consent; and
  2. every other cookie may be set only after you have opted in.

If we later add analytics, or any embedded third-party content, we will update this policy before it goes live, list what is set and for how long, and ask for your consent first where consent is required. Consent will be a positive act: continuing to browse will not count, refusing will be as easy as accepting, and you will be able to change your mind at any time.

5. Controlling cookies yourself

Independently of any website, you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and set your browser to warn you before one is stored. The help pages for Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge each explain how. Since this site sets none, doing so will not affect how it works, including the contact form.
